EASY HALLOWEEN HAIRSTYLE | ALIEN SPACE BUN Tutorial

Hey gals, it’s THAT time of the year, when it’s totally OK to be weird! 

Halloween is the one day a year where you’re able to be whoever you want. This look: I’m going to show you how to do one of the easiest hairstyles ever for Halloween, Alien Space Buns using affordable Favorites from Target. 

 Try this simple and fun look out for your next Halloween party… and be as strange as you want this Halloween!

Alien Space Buns | Hair Tutorial

(Optional: my hair was curled with a 1″ curling iron)

Step 1: Use Dove Refresh + Care Volume and Fullness Dry Shampoo to cleanse your hair between washes and to create more body & fullness in your hair.  Then make a center part, before brushing your hair.

Step 2: Create two, 4″ wide half-up ponytails.

Step 3:  Spray TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray on your ponytails to tame any flyaways.

Next, gently tease your ponytails to create more body and volume.

Step 4: Create your space buns. Working on one ponytail at a time, take the tail and wrap it around the base to create your cute space bun. Secure this in place with some bobby pins.

Step 5: Lock in your style. To help set your half space buns in place, give them a spritz of the TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray.

Step 5:  Mix glitter & hair gel together, then apply it to your roots using a Q-tip to create the glitter roots effect.

Step 6; Wash away heavy Halloween makeup & glitter roots with POND’S Cold Cream.  You guys know I use this cream in my night routine to remove my makeup, and it worked surprisingly well for removing sticky glitter gel from my roots as well.  I love cold creams because I have dry skin, and it keeps my skin clean and clear without stripping away the natural oils on my skin.  I prefer it to normal soaps, so  I can’t recommend this cleanser enough to you guys, especially if you have dry skin.  My mom and I both use it and are huge fans of this stuff, guess what I’m going to be stocking up during this event?
